WRITER

With over 80 commissioned scripts and stories for theatre companies, museums and arts organisations, I have received awards for my community play & my first children’s book.  With funding from Arts Council England, We Love Manchester, Manchester Guardian Society and Granada Foundation, I have written many participatory performances for Peoplescape Theatre; most recently, original interpretations of The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Selfish Giant and the Magic Porridge Pot.

 

Three stories for Stoller Hall (with Chetham’s School of Music) were commissioned 2025/6 for their ‘Stoller Story Sounds’. These interweave oral storytelling with live illustration and music.
