TRAINER & DIRECTOR

As well as presenting at national & international conferences, I have also been commissioned to deliver training to museums across Europe on subjects such as puppetry, storytelling, 1st/2nd/3rd person interpretation, applied theatre techniques & performance relating to war and conflict. I have also mentored staff and volunteers at a number of museums; to devise sessions, team development and nurturing individuals’ creative skills and interests. I direct theatre shows and have led youth theatres. After training hosted by Manchester Museum, I have led 'Labyrintheme Theatre' projects ("creating images in the mind rather than in front of the eyes") with Manchester Children's Book Festival, Isle of Man Museums Group and People's History Museum.

Recent examples include:

Presenting on storytelling at the International Bubble Conference 2026

Mentoring on narrative and puppetry for ‘Big Imaginations’

Training on ‘Drama Techniques for Good Communication in the Classroom’ for Speech Bubbles CIO

Managing the Manchester book launch of ‘That’s My Story! Drama for Confidence, Communication and Creativity in KS1 and Beyond’ by Adam Power-Annand (published by Routledge)
